Failed Businessman and Mayor Candidate Not Responsible

I recently photographed failed businessman and Mayoral candidate Drew Buchanan's pedi-cab just parked on the side of the road in the Historic District. It is always parked in the historic district.

First, should we as citizens of Pensacola allow businesses to just park their commercial vehicles on the side of the road?

  • What if dump truck owners just parked on the side of the road by Old Christ Church?
  • What if cab owners parked their off duty cabs next to the Dorr House?
  • What if Gulf Power or AT&T parked their fleets around Seville Square?
Is this how Buchanan would run the City?
  • Will Pensacola Energy trucks be parked randomly all over the City?
  • Why not just park the fleet of City vehicles left in the City Hall parking lot all over the City?
Buchanan already ran the Pulse into the ground.
Buchanan has shown he is not responsible with his failing pedi-cab business.

What would dear great great Uncle Reuben think of your business failures?

Would Uncle Reuben vote for a candidate with your credentials and lack of experience?

Another great example of why this inept business person has no business being Mayor of our City because he's not ethical. He'll continue doing as he does now breaking laws whenever they suit him or his friends. We've had that with Ashton. We had an inexperienced business person with no background whatsoever with Ashton and that has been a failure. Drew is currently running a sham business without a corporation, without a business license because he has no corporation after the State dissolved it in September last year. This picture shows him violating existing City ordinances. It's against the law for commercial vehicles to be stored or parked on City streets after 6 p.m. Commercial vehicles can only be parked on city streets when they are working on projects and must leave by 6 p.m. and not remain all night. This photo does not show that the trolley is actively engaged in business. There is no attendant. They are stopped here briefly. This is being stored here and being used as "advertising" in this case and taking up parking required by nearby legal businesses and residences. Same with his illegal office on Guillemard Street. It was a former barn. It doesn't meet any current building code to be used as anything except what it was remodeled for, a residence. There is no elevator to the second floor, no ADA bathroom, not enough parking for the building's use as anything other than residential, yet there he is operating his illegal business and his buddy Ashton had staff overlook it while they make everyone else rent office space that meets commercial codes $$$. Enough with the corruption. We deserve an educated, honest, qualified person with integrity and business skills to serve as Mayor.

His boat is also parked on the street in front of his rental house on Florida-Blanco street right downtown off of Government. Just saying.nn

Is this another set up by Fred Levin like Ashton? I see where Askew and Levin formed the law firm together. Is Drew another God-son like Hayward? Enough with these idiots. If Levin wants to be Mayor, he should just run for Mayor and stop with the puppets.

Grover. If you read this blog which you probably do. Run for the right reasons. No Fred's or other deep pockets pulling your strings. Promise transparency, attend council meetings, and listen to your city employees and residents for gods sake. And find honest, respectable people to run your divisions. Again, just ask your employees who those people are. Don't just throw a dart at the wall like Ashton did. The rest with fall into place. If this is just a stepping stone for future politics, or looking to make a buck, please do not run. Just be common sense Grover. This city needs you.

Everyone inundate the mayors 311 system with these violations and complaints. See how long it takes to rectify or even get a response.

The City of Pensacola has 19 Boards, Committees, and Advisory Groups where residents and property owners in Pensacola can volunteer and be appointed by the City Council to advise them through these committees on recommendations to bring forward to City Council. Has Drew Buchanan ever volunteered as a member of any of these Boards? If so, what was he attendance record? Does he belong to a City neighborhood association where he has volunteered in any capacity as an officer or a volunteer? Did he attend LeAP Academy for future leaders of Pensacola? Did he attend the City's Citizen Academy or City's Citizen Police Academy (multi-week classes to educate and engage citizens with detailed knowledge of each and every City Department and how it functions)? Any volunteer effort whatsoever with the City of Pensacola to learn and prepare for the City's highest position? Where did the money go that he helped raise to save the John Sunday House? What thriving business in Downtown does he own? His website is the same drivel he wrote for Ashton as his speech writer, Transparency. I'd like to see some transparency.

Levin is on his last days on earth. Why would he care about this kid?

I said the same thing about Ashton but Levin climbed out of his deathbed to defend, protect, and promote Ashton too.

The next Mayor of Pensacola will be an instant hero to the employees and citizens. I can’t imagine anyone being worse than Skinny Pants. There will be a MAJOR celebration the day he leaves city hall. A word of caution Pensacola. Beware of any candidate taking contributions from these local law firms. Hayward’s campaign contributions from area attorneys like Beggs and Lane has cost the city millions of dollars over the past 7+ years. Hopefully the next Mayor won’t be a con man and a crook who needs all kinds of outside legal counsel.

After thinking about the recent failure of the true beat of the heart in the community, the pulse...I was considering why they would even close...THEY HAD NO OVEr HEAD....How many internet blogs go out of business? I mean you have to be a REAL LOSER to not be able to keep a blog online...
