It's Time for some Swearin'...under OATH

Hayward Olson Sisson

per·ju·ry
[ˈpərj(ə)rē]

NOUN

  1. the offense of willfully telling an untruth in a court after having taken an oath or affirmation.
synonyms: lying under oath · giving false evidence/testimony
What can we make of Chief Schmitt's lawsuit against the City, et al?
  • Hayward, Olson and Sisson are being sued individually, not only in their official capacities.
  • They may get Sisson's truck, but likely leave Jose!
  • Mayor Hayward only makes $100,000 so they may get some Redfish Refi cash.
  • Mayor Hayward has made it this far without a video deposition being made public...Smile for the camera Ashton and Please read the above definition again to let it sink in!
Depositions I KNOW will take place:
  • Hayward
  • Olson
  • Sisson
  • Wilkins
  • Walsh
  • Workman
  • Allen
  • Van Sickle
  • Deas
  • Andrews
  • Jester
Depositions I HOPE will take place:
  • Kerrigan
  • Wu
  • Cannada-Wynn
  • Terhaar
  • Edler
  • Admins for Olson, Sisson, Wilkins & the Mayor
  • Wells
Questions that are now UNAVOIDABLE UNDER OATH:
  • Did Olson tell Allen the Chiefs would not be coming back and go ahead and move in the Chief's office and start running the department the way he wanted?
  • Did Hayward, while at Happy Pig, tell Glover he would never be promoted as long as his previous EEOC lawsuit was active?
  • Did Wilkins actually do ANYTHING in the investigation or was it run by Sisson and Olson?
  • What did Deas conversations with "Ashton" entail?
  • How much was Deas put up to bringing his "issues" forward?
  • Did Olson really tell Schmitt that Glover "needed to move on"?
  • What details will Workman disclose as to Sisson's statements about Schmitt and Glover? About Sisson or Olson's statements regarding the EEOC investigations?
  • How many conversations did Hayward have regarding the investigations with Kerrigan?
  • Did David Allen have advance notice that the Chiefs would be investigated and placed on leave?
  • Did Allen have advance notice of the outcome and the Mayor's decision.
  • How much did Allen assist in the witch hunt for Sisson and Olson?
  • How were the Council members lobbied to vote to confirm Allen?
  • How panel interviews were so important and required by Sisson for some but not for Tibbett?

Ok Citizens...Did I miss anything???

Great job, Maren. Keep it up. Hold their feet to the fire! — Can't be emphasized enough: "The Corrupt-Side of Florida."

Yesssssssssss!!! Van Sickle and (hopefully) Kerrigan to be deposed. They can no longer hide behind "attorney-client" privileges as they are app to do. Van Sickle was a city vendor - PERIOD. If his paycheck came on a "City of Pensacola" check he is MY client, not Hayward's private counsel even though that is the way he has acted thus far. Kerrigan has no status whatsoever except to be a busybody behind the scenes whispering in Hayward's ear. No attorney-client privilege there, either.

Did Deas lie about his membership status with PUFFA during the investigation?

If so, why?

What if hayward hires them as his personal attorneys...hummmm

Great Job Maren. I hope they get justice.

The following should also be deposed:
Maxwell Brahnam
Hosea Godwyn
Vernon Stewart
Brenda Kahalley

Mr. Van Sickle, were you aware that Brandon Tibbett was hired after Workman and Sisson "intentionally deviated from the normal hiring protocol?

If you knew, did you know before collecting your $60K on the investigation?

Does Van Sickle have a good attorney? He may need one!

It sounds to me like more than just Ashy is in need of a good lawyer. One thing's for sure, because the city has bought off just about every law firm in town, they can give everybody who needs an attorney a referral.

So glad that he is suing the City. Get boxes Aston Hayward, Eric Olson, Ed Sisson, and Keith Wilkins because you are out of here.

Yesterday in the PNJ there was an article chronicling a disturbing pattern of racism and harassment over many years tolerated and seemingly perpetuated by the city. I had no idea how bad things were. What has happened this year seems to have brought things full circle.

I for one will speak out loud and clear against any of my tax dollars defending this despicable behavior and I agree that many boxes need to be handed out now.

Heyword (misspelled in honor of Sisson) is too dumb to be afraid of perjury. I wonder how Red Bull among "other things" will cause one to act during a video deposition...I'm not so sure if everyone else listed is willing to take the chance of perjuring themselves.

"A person convicted of perjury under federal law may face up to five years in prison and fines. The punishment for perjury under state law varies from state to state, but perjury is a felony and carries a possible prison sentence of at least one year, plus fines and probation."

If this applies to attorneys as it should, somebody could possibly lose their ability to practice law! OUCH!!!

You would think that the BEST part of this is that the Hayward Gang is being sued individually. Right? Maybe! Look for Larry Johnson to make a motion at a city council meeting for the city taxpayers to pick up the legal costs to defend these three scumbags. The motion will be seconded by Brian Spencer. Cannada-Wynn and Wu will most certainly vote in favor, along with a couple of others who will have to be wakened from their naps in order to vote. So the city taxpayers will be paying quadruple legal fees instead of just the fees to defend ourselves! This is a FEDERAL case so the attorneys get to hit us with lots of travel expenses, especially since we know they are going to appeal the case as many times as they can.

(I think about things like this every time I drive by a "Re-elect P.C. Wu" sign!)

A vote for Cannda-Wynn, or WU, means higher taxes for you!

When are the people in this town going to wake up? It's mind-boggling how these things continue to go unchecked. I'm not sure what it's going to take for taxpayers to take a stand. Every time I think that things can't get any worse at City Hall I'm proven wrong. Hayward and his minions need to go!

More bad news is likely on the horizon for City taxpayers. Don't forget that this scenario could possibly play out twice. The other terminated Chief will more than likely follow the same path which would mean quadruple attorneys fees TWICE!!!

This has the potential of turning the Upside Down...All I can say is that it's a great time NOT to be a City resident!!!
