Olson "Misspoke" In Detail According to Hayward

In his weekly AM1620 interview below, the Mayor states:

" I don't know if Mr. Olson misspoke or not but its not."  (related to the EEOC complaint)

Accordingly to the Mayor, his City Administrator Eric Olson "misspoke" in painful detail about the who, why and when of the administrative leave for the Chiefs.

How do you misspeak when you stated in laborious detail:

  • The insurance carrier instructions
  • Rob Larkin, Allen Norton & Blue's instructions
  • Retained investigator for an EEOC investigation per legal advice

How can anyone misspeak in that much detail?

Imagine a jury hearing the Chiefs' attorneys play the Olson interview and then asking both Olson and Hayward under oath how someone "misspoke" in such voluminous detail.

Chiefs, please download the Olson interview so that it is documented for your possible suits.

Other city employees, download a copy for your potential future suits.  Under Hayward, its just a matter of when not if.

Olson proved retaliation in that interview!  No magic wand Hayward waves can undo the recorded words of the City Administrator.

Talk about serious backpeddling!!! It's going to take a lot more than a mulligan to fix this debacle. A word of advise to Eric Olson, the light that you see at the end of the tunnel, don't walk towards it...It's not the way out, it's a rapidly approaching train!

That's a huge supposed mis-spoke. All that detail about EEOC complaint, notifying insurance, being directed to notify attorneys, Attorney's mentioned by name who directed to the City to put the officers on administrative leave. The Mayor needs to add a morning meeting to coordinate all their LIES.Wayward Hayward needs to go along with his henchmen Olson, Sisson, Wells, and Bowling.

Misspoke??? That was more like a long, thought out, misspeach!!! Hayward must think the citizens are as dumb as he and his henchmen. Didn't Olson make these comments way back in February? When did the mayor realize that Olson "misspoke"? Was it after he realized that his goon has publicly admitted to retaliation because of the EEOC complaints filed against them? Are the Chiefs still suspended because the city is mounting their defense and covering their tracks because of their numerous missteps? This is a witch hunt gone bad!

Misspoke

1. To lie and blame the stupidity of your City Administrator because you're a big fat liar.

2. Wearing pants that are on fire because you're a liar.

3. One who is stupid, racist, and a liar. One who should be recalled as Mayor.

See you all at the City Council Meeting tonight. It should be another great show of bad governance leaving more questions than answers. The only transparency at City Hall is everyone else being able to see through all of the BS. Lies, lies, and more lies. The idiot mayor believes that he is untouchable and that there is no chance for a recall.

There are more and more people in this community who are getting fed up with this mayor and this administration which is completely out of control.

Ashton and his entire crew have proven themselves to be serial liars. It seems that they don't even care when everyone knows they are lying. What they are doing to these men is shameful and they ALL need to be held accountable for their actions. What does it say about the state of this city when we can only sit back and watch while two public servants are being railroaded?

Anonymous at 6:42 AM...It may be frustrating to see what's happening but I assure you and everyone reading this blog, that there are things in motion right now that will give this situation the attention it needs on a national scale. The longer it goes, the worse it gets for all who are involved in the witch hunt. The outcome of the "investigation" will determine where things go from here. I have attended several meetings over the past month and believe me the people in this community are outraged and ready to act when the time comes.
